Next to my Lord God, my family is the most important thing in my life. I always wondered why Father God would require me to love Him more than my family. And one day, He answered that for me.

I find the more I love Father God, the more love He gives me to pour out on my family.

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.  Joshua 24:15
